One of our favorite quotes comes from John F. Kennedy:

“Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation.”

Giving kids the opportunity to develop their greatest abilities in order to fulfill their private hopes and dreams and benefit the world is what Aver School is all about. In today’s world, digital media skills are as foundational as knowing to read, write and do basic math.  Aver School currently has a pilot program teaching photography to kids at Esperanza Viva Youth Home in Puebla, Mexico. In the future, a video and audio program will be added to the curriculum.

Welcome to Aver School

Aver School

Aver School is an organization founded to teach digital video, photo and audio skills to children and youth in orphanages and homeless shelters around the world who would otherwise not have access to such an education.

If you would like to be a part of this amazing experience, please contact us via the form on the right. We’ll send you an email with more detailed information on how you can participate, help out and enjoy the kids’ art.

Warm regards,

Ruth & Stan Hartmann

PS - Part of our program involves connecting the kids to professional photographers that can both teach and inspire them; if you are a professional photographer that loves teaching, working with kids and traveling or if you have a digital camera that is not being used, by all means get in touch.
